castironguy Dinner in Nagoya #japan on our second & last night here, we just randomly went into a small shop steps from our hotel and pretty much blindly ordered. castironguy Grilling my own mochi on a stick in the Mononoke village in Ghibli Park in Nagoya #japan … sticky rice on a stick grilled crisp and then a miso walnut sauce finished on the grill. They charged ¥1100 (about ten bucks) for this but it was as much about the experience as the food. [read more...]

castironguy Our first meal in Nagoya #japan was at a little shop near our hotel serving amazing platters of deep fried pork served with cabbage, rice, soup, tea and some sides. This whole meal for both of us was about ¥3000 all in… which is roughly thirty bucks CAD, and we practically rolled out of there. [read more...]
