Every time we've visited New York we've also visited the Alice statue in Central Park. It's strange how you gravitate to certain things when traveling. #newyork

Just before we went into The Met (from where I'm posting this after an expensive lunch!) we checked out some ancient Egyptian ruins outside. Cleopatra would have been thrilled. #newyork#museum

The view from the 33rd floor is lovely at night and with a great deal on an amazing hotel we'll get to see it every day while we're here. Too bad about that elevator rode tho! #newyork#views

Broadway looks quiet now but in about 30 minutes these shows will let out and hundreds of goers will pour into the streets. Tomorrow we'll be among them but tonight we're just checking the scene and getting settled in NYC. #newyork

After snowing for two days straight the park is nearly impassable, at least for a tiny dog and her lazy owner, but the night sky is now clear and temperatures are hopefully going to improve... eventually?

Churchill Square is much quieter on a Sunday evening in the cold of a early winter weekend. There was just me and a fellow angrily shouting at the sky to enjoy the lights.
