8r4d Our #running tradition used to be a dedicated #breakfast run on every stat holiday (or as often as we could manage it) but we’ve wavered a bit in recent years, only hitting the mark a few times each year, if that. Today was a stat holiday to honour truth and reconciliation. We logged a breakfast run.

8r4d The Kid forgot her glasses at work so we did a field trip to #westedmontonmall to get them. And did some early morning wandering while we were at it… obviously #halloween is on the horizon too!

8r4d Those #autumn views! Not much of a photo expedition, but one can’t help but catch a view glorious sights of the fall colours when you step outdoors in late September.

8r4d Sunday Runday and #autumn was in full show for our morning #running adventures thru the creek. It was only about three degrees out tho, so there was a bit of frost on the grass and the short pants might have been a questionable decision. I love this time of year!

8r4d They’re making a mess huh? We walked by the construction at the #university this evening and they are making some progress refacing the Butterdome from its 40 year old bright yellow facade. A change with mixed emotions. So iconic in the city, but apparently a pain to maintain safely.

8r4d #parkrun in #autumn makes for a chilly #running morning for a Saturday in September. The wind was a little cool for my liking and it slowed me down on the return trip, but overall a good showing.
