Tempura for dinner in Midtown Tokyo. The clever deal here is that you pick the food you want to eat then go to the restaurant that makes that specific and only food. or wakarimasen meaning “I don’t understand.” …something I suspect we’ll be getting some good mileage on this first few days. I took a bunch of Japanese lessons (and of course 10 months of duolingo) but this has just started to get me a toehold into a complex and beautiful language.
In the meantime enjoy this #panoramic pic which is something I actually do understand. [read more...]
