8r4d It’s still #summer for a couple weeks but it sure felt like #autumn when we were out #running through the #rivervalley this morning. The air was brisk and the forecast had threatened a frost overnight that never materialized… but I wore a jacket for the first time in a while and it wasn’t q wardrobe mistake.

8r4d Funny to think we used to live around here when we lived in #downtown for that year or so. Hanging around the Brewery District on a Saturday afternoon is not a bad vibe tho.

8r4d With just over a month until this stupid referendum slash facebook-meme-gone-wrong, I figured I’d better put my stake in the ground, literally. They were handing out lawn signs at the #park this afternoon. A new sign and a #sticker for my truck. #vote #ohcanada indeed!

castironguy I have been a bit lazy about #baking #sourdough #bread lately. Between a busy summer, the price of flour, and trying to reduce my gluten intake to see if it helped with some digestion struggles these past few months, my starter was a bit neglected. I gave it some first aid this week and managed to finally bake a loaf today. It’s a bit weak and took too long to rise, but it’s still bread! And the house smells great right now.

8r4d Sometimes you just need to wander around #westedmontonmall on a Friday afternoon. Maybe I was just looking for an interesting lunch or maybe I was getting ahead of my Christmas #shopping plans a few months early. Who's to say?
