squwetchy About six hours later I decided this #dandelion #watercolour was a little lacking in depth, so I spent another hour or so adding lots of shading, some subtle some not, and now I think it has a lot more oomph. What say you?

There are a couple lessons in this. One, that I still have a lot to learn and often surprise myself by adding some shading that would seem too strong but often turns out really well. And two, in my rush to post things before they’ve fully settled in my mind there lays a mild regret that I am sharing pics before they are ready. Normally I should delete the old one, but there is process here and a kind of loose art in the medium as much as in the piece.
