8r4d At the hotel we're getting ready to hit the town again this morning and watching the show "Today" on NBC. They're talking about the #christmastree that got put up on the weekend. We happened to be walking by as the crane was setting it up. #newyork

8r4d Oh... Hello? The kid was excited to see Book of Mormon on Broadway this evening after her dance crew did a choreography to Hello last year, the opening number from this comedy musical. #newyork

8r4d Just after we walked up Park Avenue out of Grand Central Terminal we were back at the hotel and the first Avengers film was of TV... and just a few minutes away from the scenes on this street. In that film the fictional Stark Tower was cgi'd over the Metlife Building (centre) and the maim battle with the aliens took place pretty much where we were standing in this pic. The iconic Avengers standing/crouching in a circle pose is just up on the bridge in the right of the frame. And this hippo may as well be painted green and stand in for the Hulk. #newyork

8r4d We got metro cards for the whole week and even though we've walked more than we've ridden on the Subway it's proven to be a key part of adventuring when we've needed it. #newyork
