The cold has made navigating the city an act of ant like scurrying through the tunnels and corridors of the network of routes that transect the hundreds of connected buildings. Occasionally, frequently, this means crossing an elevated and enclosed pedestrian bridge colloquially referred to in Edmonton as “pedways.” The glass tubes allow one to peer our from a few meters above street level and watch the frozen city below and around you.

This was a lazy day photo, taken yesterday and posted today because getting outside yet again in this weather was not an option worth entertaining.
